Even without a toddler and a pregnancy and a full-time job, this time of the year is just hectic - not a lot of time for writing. Ada continues to be more fun every day, Baby Harvey v.2 continues to grow, kick and punch. As of Tuesday, my cervix is still ~ 2.9 cm, which is fantastic, although there is some funneling (dilation from the inside) that they are keeping an eye on. Baby was measuring a little over a pound, but I'm pretty sure they were off by about 20 lbs.
Today, Ron and I went to a childbirth class that our doula runs, and there were some nice refreshers, and she demonstrated some positioning techniques and massage techniques that are supposed to help during labor. If I stay off of bedrest, we'll be taking Lamaze classes in February - trying to have as many coping tools in our bag as possible. We are slooooowly starting to get the house in shape for the new baby, but it's slow going. Luckily, newborns are pretty undemanding about their surroundings, so I'm not totally stressed. Yet.
Here;s a few of Ada at Thanksgiving. She ate no turkey or dressing or pie. Alien child.
what a doll!! Made me sad though - I wish I were in some of the pictures --
means I am not there to see Ada change day by day.
That was a great game, roll Yada on the ball and listen to her giggle.
She's so much fun!
